Are you busily putting together travel plans for the New Year? Regardless of whether you get to travel for work or play, QT Bondi is a pretty amazing offering that pushes the contemporary feel of the company’s previous efforts into a lighter, beachside style.

It’s an interesting operation from Event Hospitality and Entertainment Limited (ASX:EVT). The group, which also owns hotel brands Rydges, Atara, The Art Series and Thredbo Resort, continues to challenge expectations with a more boutique offering than other hotels under the banner of QT Hotels and Resorts.

We’re particularly impressed by the palette chosen by the hotel’s designers. The light pastel tones give the hotel an airy feel – quite a contrast to the busy, dark and chaotic fitout of their George Street hotel. It’s another example of the way QT has focussed on ensuring each of their venues reflects the personality of its surrounds, but still manages to represent the style of other venues from the Gold Coast to Canberra

In fact, QT Bondi forgoes bars and restaurants and spas for bespoke suites across the road from Australia’s most famous beach. Walking in through the lobby, guests will be amazed by the décor which features original work by Shaun Gladwell. Meanwhile, the rooms, which have been designed by renowned Australian architects – and long-time QT collaborators - Nic Graham and Associates to continue the beachside feel.

So, if you’re looking to impress interstate or international visitors (or just looking to escape to the beach yourself), check out the QT Bondi website to be one of the first guests in this amazing new venue.
