In 2016, Penfolds celebrates 25 years of Re-corking Clinics - an exclusive and complimentary after-sales service, providing owners of Penfolds red wines, aged 15 years or older, with a distinctive and intimate wine health examination.

 

 

Embarking on a tour across Australia from August, the Clinics see the Penfolds winemaking team visually inspect collector’s wines, open, assess the quality, top up, certify, and re-capsule their prized bottles.

A unique proposal in the world of wine, an appointment offers attendees a personal opportunity to meet a Penfolds winemaker, recount the wine’s ‘story’, and discuss drinking windows and cellaring tips. A visit to a Clinic also provides the opportunity for attendees to receive a market appraisal for their wines from leading fine wine auction house, Langton's.

 

 

With over 130,000 bottles being certified since the program’s inception in 1991, Penfolds Re-corking Clinics have become highly sought-after events for collectors and enthusiasts the world-over.
