One of The Shaker's favourite interviewees, ONA's Sasa Sestic, is making his way into your loungeroom. The award-winning documentary The Coffee Man will be released for digital purchase on November 30 (with pre-orders for already racking up via iTunes).

Since premiering in May 2016, The Coffee Man has screened around the globe to overwhelmingly positive reviews and won Best Australian Documentary at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival. After over 190 screenings in 37 countries since its premiere, The Coffee Man film is making its way onto the digital universe.

The Coffee Man documentary film explores the extraordinary world of speciality coffee and the lengths one man, Sasa Sestic (2015 World Barista Champion), will go to experience coffee nirvana.

The film shows how a local man’s passion and pride for his craft led him to reach astonishing new heights. An inspiring true story, The Coffee Man is an incredible platform for the booming coffee industry in Canberra and an exciting local project to support. Barista Magazine called it “100% the best coffee film we have seen” and 2016 Irish Barista Champion, Natalia Piotrowska, after watching it said “I have never been more inspired”.

The debut documentary from filmmaking duo Jeff Hann (director) and Roland Fraval (producer) tracks Sasa’s life from his origins in war-torn Yugoslavia to his eventual burst onto the international speciality coffee scene. The film follows Sasa around the world as he strives to create the perfect cup of coffee, before it turns its attention to the World Barista Championships in Seattle, USA.

The Coffee Man will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vimeo and www.thecoffeemanfilm.com . iTunes pre-sale is available at a discount of 25%. A special Coffee Nerd Edition will also be available exclusively on www.thecoffeemanfilm.com, featuring deleted scenes, extended interviews and bonus content.
