Kate Hudson needs no introduction. While she’s best known for her roles on screen, it’s the many other roles Kate plays that make her so unique.

She’s a mum of two boys, founder of the hugely successful activewear brand Fabletics, best-selling author of Pretty Happy and her newest book Pretty Fun, as well as a passionate advocate for women and girls around the world.  Kate was one of 300 Hollywood women to launch Time’s Up, an initiative that helps women fight sexual harassment in the workplace.

Kate was just 21 when she played Penny Lane in the movie Almost Famous, a role that earned her a Golden Globe and a nomination for an Academy Award. Since then she’s gone on to star in everything from your favourite comedies like Fool’s Gold to dramas like Deepwater Horizon, and the recent Marshall.

Kate is coming to Australia to speak for Business Chicks at a special lunch on Tuesday 20 February at the Grand Ballroom at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.
