Canberra cyber businesses QuintessenceLabs and deception.ai partner have taken their world-leading products to the largest cyber security event in the world.

The new partnership is showcasing their world-leading and locally created technology at the RSA Conference in San Francisco this week.

The partnership is an evolution for both companies, taking the very best in decoy technology from deception.ai and applying leading quantum technologies from QuintessenceLabs to create a sophisticated and secure solution to protect global customers from cyber-attack.

CEO Canberra Business Chamber Robyn Hendry said the partnership highlights the strength of Canberra as a hub to conduct security business.

“It is exciting to see these two businesses working together and demonstrating their world leading innovations at one of the biggest global cyber events,” Ms Hendry said.

The partnership was welcomed by ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA, with the partnership and the ACSC conference examples of how Canberra is increasingly seen as a destination for cyber businesses.

“Canberra’s growing tertiary education industry, as well as our proximity to the Federal Government, provides great opportunities for companies like QuintessenceLabs and Penten to grow,” said Mr Barr.

The partnership had its conception via AustCyber, Australia’s Cyber Security Growth Network and nurtured through ACT Government initiatives to support innovation and collaboration by cyber security SMEs in the region.

deception.ai are supporting QuintessenceLabs on their stand at RSA Conference in San Francisco as part of an Austrade Mission this week, to pitch their ideas to a global audience.
